About
TL;DR
I'm a Cloud & DevOps Engineer specializing in security-focused microservices architectures, with a background in Cloud Computing, Networking and Cybersecurity.
I'm currently working on the GCAP.
Job Experience
Currently, I work in the defense sector for the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) as a consultant for Leonardo S.p.A.
I manage on-premise OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure for our development team. My focus is on ensuring a robust air-gapped environment, handling Nexus artifact and complete GitLab repositories, developing CI/CD pipelines and designing secure & scalable microservices architectures.
During my first job, I worked as a Network Technician for Hytel s.r.l..
I gained hands-on experience managing network infrastructures, hosting services and solving real-world issues.
During my thesis research I collaborated with Italian and France universities.
I have developed source code analysis and notification systems for 'em. I was responsible to design and implement these 2 different frameworks, leveraging hybrid cloud computing and machine learning.
Education
I hold a MSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Salerno, where I developed a structured approach to problem-solving, combining theory with practical projects.
During my studies, I had the opportunity to participate in an Erasmus Exchange Program at INSA Rouen Normandie, where I explored Graph Representation Learning and Language Models, combining research with real-world applications.
Tech Stack
Throughout my career, I developed programming skills in Python, C, Java, Javascript, Bash, and SQL, applying them across coursework and projects such as penetration testing exercises, microservices architectures, and CI/CD pipelines.
These experiences also introduced me to a variety of tools and platforms, including Nmap, Wireshark, Docker, Kubernetes, Nexus, OpenStack, GitLab CI/CD, all of which I used to support cloud deployments, monitoring solutions, and secure system designs.
