About
TL;DR
Hi everyone, I'm a Computer Engineer with a background in Networking and Cybersecurity.
In addition I've a strong passion for Cloud & DevOps.
I'm currently looking for a job in these fields.
Learning new technologies and applying them to real-world problems.
Job Experience
I’ve gained valuable professional experience working as a Network Technician at Hytel, a local ISP and IT service provider. My responsibilities included configuring and maintaining network infrastructure (MikroTik, Ubiquiti, Fortinet), LAN/WAN/Firewall troubleshooting, deploying cloud-native monitoring systems, and ensuring compliance with NIS and NIS2 directives. This hands-on experience allowed me to strengthen my network administration skills, implement monitoring solutions with Grafana and Prometheus, and work directly with clients to troubleshoot and enhance services.
Prior to this, I also worked independently as a Web Developer, designing and delivering websites for small businesses (showcase). This early experience improved my ability to manage projects autonomously, interact with clients, and adapt to varying technical requirements.
Education
I hold a MSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Salerno, where I developed a structured approach to problem-solving, combining theory with practical projects.
During my studies, I had the opportunity to participate in an Erasmus Exchange Program at INSA Rouen Normandie, where I explored Graph Representation Learning and Language Models, combining research with real-world applications.
Tech Stack
Throughout my career, I developed programming skills in Python, C, Java, Javascript, Bash, and SQL, applying them across coursework and projects such as penetration testing exercises, microservices architectures, and CI/CD pipelines.
These experiences also introduced me to a variety of tools and platforms, including Git, Nmap, Wireshark, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Jenkins, all of which I used to support cloud deployments, monitoring solutions, and secure system designs.
